Frequently asked questions.
What does Resmuar cost?
One fixed fee – no fee per guest, no costs that grow with a full house. We tell you the figure in a conversation, fair and without small print.
How long does setup take?
You send your menu as a PDF or photo, we transfer it, and a person checks every line. Your restaurant is built behind a private preview link – it only goes live once you have seen everything and legal notice, allergens, e-mails and backup are checked. Usually that takes just a few days.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes – that is exactly what Resmuar is built for. We set everything up, you apply for nothing. And if you already have a website you like: keep it, Resmuar only takes over reservations or ordering under an address like tisch.ihr-restaurant.de.
Can I take just the menu?
Yes. The website is the foundation; you switch each module on or off individually. Just the menu? That works too.
Where is my data stored?
In Germany, in a separate space of its own for each restaurant. Everything is backed up every night, guest data older than 90 days is deleted, and an encrypted copy is kept in a second place. When our support enters your panel, you see it live. And everything that belongs to your restaurant can be downloaded in the panel with one click, at any time.
Can I deliver with Resmuar too?
Yes, if you deliver yourself. Delivery is a switch in your order rules: you enter the postcodes you drive to, plus a minimum order and a delivery fee. We don't provide drivers, and we never hold money: guests pay at the counter or at the door – or online through your own Stripe account if you switch that on.
How long am I locked in?
We discuss that in a conversation, together with the price – you know exactly what you are signing up for beforehand.
Does the website set cookies?
A single cookie so your guests do not type their details twice – no guest site sets more. No ads, no third-party analytics, no third-party services; the map only loads when the guest opens it. Spam protection works without puzzle pictures – your guests never notice it.
What happens when my evening is fully booked?
Then it says: fully booked. Anyone who still wants to come goes on your waiting list, and you get in touch as soon as something frees up. Cancelled seats go straight back on sale.
